Brass Septet

The brass septet is a unique, Finnish ensemble. The group consists of cornets, alto, tenor and baritone horns, tube and percussion. These brass ensembles were highly popular in Finland in the early 20th Century. Masterworks for this group were composed by e.g. Jean Sibelius and Leevi Madetoja.
The Police Band’s brass septet has a versatile repertoire, from concert pieces to entertainment tunes and dance music. This soft-sounding ensemble suits well for many different kinds of occasions and rooms.
